Camping Rules
Camp Dubonett is full of exciting things for kids of all ages. But all who visit appreciate the serene and tranquil environment of the surroundings. So, as much as we want to let everyone enjoy their visits the way they wish, we do have some rules that we expect to be followed for the enjoyment of your other campers, counselors and especially the farm animals.
- No additional overnight guests are permitted unless added to the reservation through Airbnb unless approved by staff.
- Check-in time is between 2:00pm – 8:00pm.
- Check-out time is 11:00am.
- Campers must check in with Campground staff at the house or by texting 231-486-5291.
- Camping is permitted in designated areas only.
- Vehicles must park in designated areas by the barns. No parking is permitted near the rustic camp sites.
- Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only.
- Dogs, on a leash up to six feet long, and under owners control are permitted in the camp. Dogs are not permitted in the Vintage Camper or Stargazer’s tent. Please pick up after your pets toileting needs. Please be aware that there are farm animals on the property and they may spook easily.
- Fireworks are not permitted.
- Discharge of firearms, air guns, slingshots or arrows are not permitted in campground boundaries.
- Radios, generators or other amplified devices may not be used in a manner that creates excessive noise.
- Quiet time is strictly observed after 10:00 PM. Radio’s are not permitted to be on outside after 10pm.
- The person who made the reservation must be with person who check’s in.
- No pets are allowed in the barns, including the bathrooms.
Booking Policy
- Full Payment is expected at time of online reservation. Other reservations require 50% deposit.
- The cancellation policy is generally managed on Airbnb. For private rentals, there is a 30 day notice required for a full refund. 50% with less than 30 days up to 7 days. No refunds for reservations that check-in within 7 days. No refunds for early departures or bad weather.
- 6% Michigan Sales tax is collected on camper reservations. Airbnb collects this for you.
- There is a cleaning fee charged per stay. Airbnb collects this for online reservations.
- For the Airstream and Sprinter (Camper Camping), 1 single dog is permitted. There is an additional pet fee and the fee must be prior to check-in. Airbnb collects this fee for online reservations.
