Camper Camping
Enjoy the ease and comfort of a camper after those daily exciting vacation adventures. We allow up to 6 people and one (1) well behaved dog (w/ pet deposit) to stay at a time. It has a queen bedroom, 4 single beds in the bunk room and a couch that folds down. The kitchen area includes non-potable water to wash dishes, a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, cups, plates, utensils, pots and pans. TV/DVD player, puzzles and games + more.
The ol’ “Sprinter,” as we call her, is best for families or many looking for an “introduction” to camping. It’s the closest you will get to a hotel minus in room bathrooms!
As you arrive an amazing camp counselor will give you a tour full a dad jokes and excel local “pro tips.” You’ll be welcomed in the Sprinter by fresh flowers and a welcome basket full of local goodies and a smore’s kit too!
BATHROOM SITCH -Shower, toilets, and sinks are located just 70 steps away.
PET POLICY – ONE small/medium dog is permitted to be with you during your stay. It must be with a human at all times and cannot remain behind while you leave the property. It must also be on a leash while on the farm. A pet fee will be charged during your reservation. And cleaning up animal waste is expected… obviously 🙂
Camp Dubonett is a secret spot in the woods! Located on a 16 acre horse farm, with the camping area nestled amongst pines, birch and oak trees so your friends and family (furry or otherwise*) will enjoy the outdoors at it’s finest! We have a game room full of board games, card games, rock painting, bracelet making kits and more and also offer a mini camp store with snacks and beverages available via an honor system. Plus complimentary coffee in the mornings for those tired folk!
We’re located next to 4,000 acres of state land that includes miles of hiking, horse and bike trails. With access to Lake Dubonnet through the woods, you can also enjoy fishing, canoeing or kayaking with ease.
If you are interested in fun day activities, we are located 8 miles from downtown Traverse City’s delicious food mecca. We’re also located at the bottom of the Leelanau peninsula that includes Sleeping Bear Dunes, several wineries, Northpoint Lighthouse and the adorable towns of Leland (Fishtown), Glen Arbor, Empire and Suttons Bay. We’re also LBGTQ+ friendly!
